Gunnar Birkeland (Norway) has developed technical solutions and industries for harvesting resources from the ocean for more than 30 years and all over the world.

His recent roles include operating the first floating wind turbine of the world (Hywind Demo) and developing innovative high voltage dynamic cables as CEO of Unitech. He is the chair of the Norwegian Offshore Wind which has 370 members working together for a successful global floating wind industry.
